The Abacus Tree Lighting Ceremony is a yearly event that takes place on the second Friday in December. It is a fun occasion where families come to enjoy cocoa, cider and cookies, while watching holiday movies and writing letters to Santa. The most popular activity is the “snowball” making that is awaiting everyone in the gym. Of course, the most important activity of the evening is the lighting of the tree in the front of the building.
Abacus will be well decorated for the holidays, complete with a tree in the foyer as well.
This event has grown in popularity over the years.
